2018 FIXED: DOMINIQUE AEGERTER REMAINS WITH KIEFER RACING IN 2018

The 26-year-old Swiss rider from the canton of Bern and the German Moto2™ outfit will continue their project with a Suter bike next year too.

In consultation with his manager Dr. Robert Sigrist, Dominique Aegerter has decided to continue his collaboration with Kiefer Racing also in 2018. After an intensive weighing-up of all possibilities, he finally was believed by the existing harmony in the team and the great personal support by the owner’s Stefan and Jochen Kiefer. It was also an important concern to maintain continuity. The victory at the Grand Prix in Misano also showed that Kiefer Racing and its rider are on the right path for further success in the future.

An according contract will be signed within the next days.

"I’m very happy that I will continue with the same environment in Kiefer Racing, Stefan and Jochen Kiefer, and Suter Racing next year. I feel very comfortable in this team and I can rely on the full support of the team as well as on our partners. All parties involved are always give everything for me and on the part of Suter Industries, it such a tremendous help for me that the technicians are on site at every race and test. I’m therefore very glad to have secured next season at this time already. But for the moment, I’m only focussed on the remaining races and try to finish the season that level of high performance we have shown in Italy last time. By the way, our victory in Misano two weeks ago certainly gives a boost and also underlines that Kiefer Racing is the right choice for me. They have been World Champion twice and this fact convinces too."
