Dominique Aegerter is looking forward with confidence to this weekend's fourth race of the season in MotoE™ World Cup.

The 30-year-old Dominique Aegerter has to cope with a mammoth program in the last week before the summer break too. After a two-day test with Ten Kate Racing riding the team’s Supersport machine at the Spanish circuit Circuito de Navarra in the northwest of the country, the rider from the canton of Bern had to move over to the Netherlands for TT Assen as quickly as possible.

On Thursday at lunch time, Aegerter arrived in good spirits and highly motivated at the tradition-steeped TT Circuit Assen, where the tactics for the upcoming weekend were immediately discussed with his Dynavolt Intact GP crew. Aegerter holds second place in the overall standings, one point behind, ahead of the debut race of the electric bike series in the northern part of the Netherlands. He would love to take the lead in this championship as well before the summer break.

"This week once again has a varied program in store for me. After a two-day test in Navarra, we left Bilbao for Amsterdam on Wednesday and from there continued travelling to Assen by rental car. Despite initial reservations, however, everything went off without a hitch. After the recent successful races in Supersport World Championship, I am looking forward to the MotoE debut race in Assen. I have known the TT Circuit for many years. However, unlike most of my competitors in MotoE, I have already been there this year. It was a private test with the Ten Kate team. Despite the massive differences in terms of the bike, it certainly will not hurt to have done a few Assen laps already. Besides, I always have liked Assen, and I also think it is cool that spectators can attend the show on spot this weekend again."

"On the other hand, there is always a question mark behind the weather in Holland. Nevertheless, I hope for consistent conditions. Apart from that, I am looking forward to seeing the Intact team again, especially Gero and Juan, and the Moto2 guys either. Assen, however, will be new territory for everyone with the MotoE bike. That promises excitement as to who can get the chassis set-up and gear ratio right the fastest for this fast and flowing track. The tyres will also be an issue. But I am greatly confident that my crew will easily solve these tasks. Nevertheless, we will try to set competitive lap times as quickly as possible right from the beginning. I am looking forward to the weekend and, despite the exhausting test at the beginning of the week, I am ready for anything."
