Dominique Aegerter and his Kawasaki WorldSSP Team were able to work very productively over the past two days at the racetrack in northern Italy, despite the extreme heat.

On Friday, June 26, and Saturday, June 27, Dominique Aegerter headed to the Cremona Circuit in Lombardy, where his Kawasaki WorldSSP team, led by Manuel Puccetti, had planned a two-day private test. As part of a track day event, they shared the track with other riders.

Despite the scorching heat, with track temperatures frequently exceeding 60 degrees, the 35-year-old Swiss rider and his technical crew successfully completed the planned test program, which focused on evaluating new solutions and further developing the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R 636. Aegerter completed a total of 120 laps over the two days.

It was an intense and demanding test, but one that proved to be extremely productive, both in terms of preparation for the upcoming World Championship round at Donington Park in the UK from July 10 to 12 and also for round ten of the season, which will take place from September 25 to 27 at the racetrack in Lombardy.

«Those were “hot” test runs in the truest sense of the word. The track temperature rose to as high as 63 °C, but thanks to the team’s outstanding work, we were able to test several new components and work on all those areas of the motorcycle that we simply don’t have time to evaluate or adjust during race weekends. We focused on the suspension and electronics while also working on lap times. It was the best possible preparation for Donington in two weeks, and I’d like to thank the entire team for working so hard under such challenging conditions.»
